The EuroPsy certificate is granted by the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA), which is the leading organization that brings together 36 National Associations of Psychology from all over Europe. The EFPA represents nearly 300,000 psychologists from the academic and research professional field and constitutes a common forum for the promotion and improvement of Psychology as a science and profession at a European level.

The responsibility of evaluating the curriculum and experience to obtain the EuroPsy and registering a psychologist in the Registry, is the responsibility of the Committee for the Award of the Certificate (European EuroPsy Accreditation Committee), appointed by the Executive Council of the EFPA.

This committee, in turn, delegates the authority to grant the EuroPsy and to register the professional in the Registry to a National Committee, which, in the case of Albania, corresponds to the Order of Psychologist.

In each country where the EuroPsy can be obtained, there are one or more National Committees for the granting of the Certificates, which are designated by the corresponding national association, which is the one that has the delegated authority to enter the names in the Registry and grant or not the Certificate.
